The KISS Method

What will make your life simpler?  Probably more information, or more understanding or more meaning.  Wisdom for a simple catch all.

This little picture came my way recently and it clarifies some of the issues.  You might find them helpful in making your own life more predictable.

Keep it Simple

For me, life is too short for drama.  For you, that could be the wrong approach.  Perhaps you thrive on and create drama to make your life more interesting. May I suggest that there may be other options that will work.

Reducing complexity in the lives of those around you might be a value.

It is difficult enough to communicate effectively without adding complexity.  The shortest distance between two points remains a straight line.  A complicated and obscure path from A to B adds value for no one.

If you cannot implement the KISS method (Keep it simple, stupid) go for the MISS method.  (Make it simple, stupid.)  But always check.  Even simple things can be misunderstood.

Life should be simpler.  Shakespeare needed to make simple things dramatic or there was no play.  Same with the Sopranos.  You can reach your goals more readily if you can avoid the excitement.

Boring works.
